Community Facilities

The project allowed a re-start of plans for the development of a sustainable travel hub for Ysgoldy Goch village hall which has since had financial support of Welsh Government and Ceredigion Council funding as well as the Cefn Croes (Windfarm) Community Fund and the Ysgoldy Goch management and fundraising committee.

There was additional backing from the owners and management at Hendre Quarry. The provision of bike rack and parking may also be available to support events at the Hafod Estate and the Hafod Church. A great deal of work went into the planning and installation of the travel hub which increase the scope of the village hall to become more sustainable by offering improved facilities to groups and individuals renting/using the facilities.
