Well-being

The project will improve access for residents and visitors alike. Promotion of the use and an upgrade of paths in the Hafod Estate and on agricultural land encourages the public to exercise while valuing nature and also ties in with the Ceredigion Public Services Board’s Well-Being Plan.

Volunteering, such as that supported by the project at the Hafod Estate, brings inclusiveness and mental health well-being from being out in green and blue spaces. The project is improving access for walkers on the Hafod Estate by upgrading three well used sections of paths.  Currently the Lady’s walk and Cae Gwartheg sections are impassable in the winter months and the Gorge walk section needs improving following recent tree felling operation. The paths will be upgraded by laying a stoned surface and improving drainage where necessary.
