Access

The area is home to the Cambrian Way, a complete north-south journey along the mountainous spine of Wales, running for 185 miles (300km) from coast to coast – Cardiff to Conwy.

It winds through two National Parks – Snowdonia and the Brecon Beacons and attracts many visitors throughout the year. Improvements to the Cambrian Way, including climate change mitigation through better drainage, as well as upgraded paths in the Hafod Estate will allow ease of access and the opportunity to learn more about this unique area of Britain. Upgrading of link paths and access through installation of small amounts of boardwalk on open areas of upland will enable easier traversing of this rugged landscape.
